AWB's Terre'blanche killed: DA calls for calm

I wish this was just another April's fool's just unbelievable! And why the f*ck isn't the government of this country calling for calm?? Maybe SA doesn't have one.

The leader of the Afrikaner Weerstandsbeweging Eugene Terre'blanche has reportedly been murdered on his farm in the North West province.

The DA in the North West has expressed its outrage and concern about Terre'blanche's murder as this has happened in a "province where racial tension in the rural farming community increasingly is being fuelled by irresponsible racist utterances by the leader of the ANCYL Leader Julius Malema and the North West Cosatu Secretary, Solly Pheto".

DA member of parliament Juanita Terblanche says the party does not share the AWB leader's political conviction "but an attack of this nature can be regarded as an attack on the diverse components of the South African democracy".

The country's national opposition expresses their condolences to the Mrs Terre'blanche and his family.

The DA called for people to "remain calm" and on the ANC to strongly condemn racist utterances.

According to 702's Eyewitness News, Terre'blanche's murder has been confirmed by police.

Leader of Afrikaner Weerstandsbeweging(AWB) Eugene Terre'blanche was attacked and killed at his farm 10km outside Ventersdorp on Saturday, North West police said.

Captain Adele Myburgh said Terreblanche, 69, was attacked by a man and minor who worked for him after they allegedly had an argument about unpaid wages around 6pm.

"Mr Terre'blanche's body was found on the bed with facial and head injuries. There was a panga on him and knobkerrie next to the bed.

"A 21-year-old man and 15-year-old boy were arrested and charged for his murder. The two told the police that the argument ensued because they were not paid for the work they did on the farm," she said.

Myburgh said Terre'blanche was alone with the two workers at the time of the attack.

She said the two would appear on charges of murder in court soon.

The Democratic Alliance in the North West expressed its "outrage and concern" at Terre'blanche's murder.

"This happened in a province where racial tension in the rural farming community is increasingly being fuelled by irresponsible racist utterances by the leader of the ANCYL Leader Julius Malema and the North West Cosatu secretary Solly Pheto," said DA MP Juanita Terblanche.

She said the DA did not share Terre'blanche's political conviction but an attack of this nature could be regarded as an attack on the diverse components of the South African democracy.

Terblanche sent her condolences to the family and called to the people to remain calm.

North West MEC for Public Safety Howard Yawa reacted with shock at the news of Terre'blanche's death and appealed for calm in the province.

Yawa condemned the "callous murder in the strongest terms possible" and also called to the people to allow the law to take its course. - Sapa

Unfortunately in the twisted society of South Africa these animals will go to Jail as heroes and probably be released in a year with the chance to run for president.

I believe 75% of the country will be celebrating in the next couple of days!

VIVA to the bush cats!! This is just another step before they pounce!

This is very disturbing. The white genocide is gathering momentum.

Today many blacks, especially in the political arena will be enjoying their fruits of labour - the propaganda and incitement to kill whites that has been driven by the ANC for years.

This time an influential Boer has been savagely murdered by young black males yielding traditional weapons. Although the slaughtering of Eugene Terreblanche will not directly lead to outright war, it is a big wedge that has just been driven into the already growing crack between blacks and whites in South Africa.

Being the true racists of the world, the ANC have shown yet again that they want blood and that they are willing to spill it.

it was the general mistake of the boer ,not to kill the swart native at the landnahm, as the anglosaxons did it when they take america, and australia! You always regret halfthings done at the end !

Notice how the liberals at Sky put the spin on this story? Instead of simply stating that a man was butchered by barbarians with a panga over a wage dispute they open with "right wingers vow to avenge death" and end with "President Jacob Zuma calls for calm", completely neutralizing any legitimate grief that can be claimed by whites. I hate these liberal deuche bags.

Amongst other things, the most immediate steps that needs to be taken by white folks are the following:

- Stop buying liberal (especially Afrikaans) newspapers - Rapport, Beeld, Die Burger, you are paying for propaganda that is set against you.

- If you still have a maid, let her go, she is the main security risk for you and your family, regardless of her intentions and devotion. A bit of dust is better than you and your family's blood on the walls, floors and ceilings.

- If you still have a garden boy, let him go, the chances of him hating you and your family on a conscious or subconscious level is 80% or probably more. Don't let a friendly face fool you.

- Wake up! Wake Up! Wake Up! Stop leaving doors open, stop being unconscious about your surroundings, stop thinking it will never happen to you!

I am shocked, still reeling. I never looked up to the man as a political leader, but his passing is such a waste! A Goliath slain by a small and insignificant David. And already the ANC is taking Julius' side, saying his "kill the Boer" song has nothing to with ET's death. At the same time Julius is in Zim screaming at the top of his lungs that he will take the land of ZA ZanuPF style...This is a very sick society in ZA!!! Sick!!!

DA calls for calm!!!???

Fuck the DA! The DA (and their ilk) are everything thats wrong with South Africa today!

Yes the Bantu are barbaric, always have been and always will be, but it's the DA (and the puppet ANC) who refused to let the seperate Nations of SA have their own countries and all because the big money men in the US and UK want us to carry the Bantu while they use the Bantu as cheap labour. It's all about profits and we, the Boers, are only their to look after the Bantu and to provide the scapegoat when "the people" start questioning Capitalism!

All day we've had "Terreblanch the White Supremisist" in the UK media, when in fact all he was was a White Seperatist... massive difference in meaning and appreciation! Obviously someone is paying handsomely for the truth to be twisted like that!

Word wakker!

ET was a MAN OF MEN and not a simpleton like Zoom zoom or a joke like mini me his mouth piece. He warned us what was coming. We did not listen. The black African needs more time to become a good custodion of the peoples vote.Africa is still not ready for democracy. What a waste. RIP

I would like to express my condolences to the family of ET. I also truly hope that he has gone to the "good place" up there. The manner of his demise is utterly wrong and disgusting, regardless of the motive of the perpetrators (and I take with a pinch of salt the story about unpaid wages).

I respected the man for speaking his mind but, if I may be so bold as to say, he was not exactly a credible voice for Afrikaner SA. One of the reasons he was mercilessly lampooned by the BBC, for example, was because of his confrontational and abrasive style.

A far more credible voice for Conservative Afrikanerdom, in the not to distant past, was Andries Treurnicht - the type of individual the BBC or it's ilk would NEVER have interviewed - simply because his arguments and logic would have been far more difficult to refute.

Looking at the MYSASUCKS website, there are a lot of gung-ho wind-bags - I truly believe that we must all keep rationally calm until further notice. (I DO live abroad, in case anyone would throw that at me).

Condolences to the Terreblanche family. I once went to one of his meetings (held during Apartheid) and he wasn't a raving lunatic as people like to label him. He had legitimate arguments and was all about preserving the white people of SA. I came away with a different understanding of who he was and what he stood for. May he RIP.

No one can question that Terreblanche loved his country. That he was brutally hacked to death by his own workers is just another example of what whites are experiencing in SA today. No matter what their dispute was, they chose to murder him.

May he RIP and condolences to his family.

The British media have been repeatedly labeling ET as a "white supremacist"

If he and his political party were in the UK they would be "Nationalists" - no different to Alex Salmon of the Scottish National Party and Leuan Wyn Jones of Plaid Cymru.

ET was a true a Afrikaner patriot wishing to fulfill the dream of his ancestors from the Great Trek - an independent republic for Afrikaners living in peace with their neighbours. That is all he was saying in his robust style.

For some peculiar reason the west will not agree to such a simple request yet it is recognised everywhere else on the planet.

The most recent example of a similar failure where multi-ethnic groups were forced to live in a unitary state was Yugoslavia. That collapsed and and the constituent parts have all been recognised as independent nations. Why are white South Africans in general and Afrikaners in particular denied the same right to self-determination?

The last 16 years have proved conclusively that blacks are incapable of running a country with a first world infrastructure. How can they when they have never built such a nation in the first place anywhere on the planet?

If "white supremacy" means running a country that creates millions of jobs and houses for black people; enables their population to grow from 5m to 35m over 90 years; educates them and takes care of them in hospitals why is it such a terrible thing?

I thought ET did more harm than good when he opened his mouth with regards to minority rights. Having said that however nobody deserves to be hacked to death.

On another post on this blog I spoke about the mindset of criminals. What would make a black man hack his boss to death and not even run away? More likely the feeling that nothing will happen to him as the leadership of the country condone not only the killing of whites but also the use of violence to settle disputes with their "Kill the Boer" slogans.

I might be out of place when I say this, but I hope that the whites in SA take this one on the chin and let it be as it is this type of powerkeg being hit that the ANC hopes will play into their hands. Now is not the time, the time will come. It's not that far away.

Vasbyt min dae

The killing of ET as he lay sleeping is a message to the white farmers. It is no coincidence that Malema just happened to be in Zimbabwe. The boons are waging a war and the fact that they are not man enough to declare this openly, attest to the cowardly character of the boon.

The fact that this happened just shows you the hypocrisy of these motherfuckkers, the question was asked why did those kaffers work for the 'bad ugly supremacist' any way? Same cunt asking the next question how can they allow a 15 year old to work on a farm, tsst farm slavery and so it goes on and on and on...please someone take Julius out and lets get it on!

I agree with the view that ET was a white seperatist/nationalist, as opposed to a supremacist. Either way, though, it was not justification for a brutal murder.

As regards the suggestion that the West somehow manipulates the situation to exploit "cheap labour", this is nonesense.

For starters, ET is portrayed as a white supremacist because it sells newspapers. Nobody is interested in a white struggle story, but whites beating on the "poor kaffirs" is sure to sell papers.

Then the "cheap labour" conspiracy is nonesense. African labour is so unproductive, and the quality so crap, that despite the low wages, African products are woefully uncompetitive on a global market. I can source anything, better and cheaper, from the East or the USA (after factoring in transport).

More than 90% of farms redistributed to blacks have failed so there is no more tax revenue coming from that source. There's no money left to buy out white farmers, so if you want a farm, kill the farmer, call the police, and wait for "justice" to begin. That is just mob mentality, and Malema is playing to it. I don't believe that Zanu PF have the numbers to do what Malema is promising. But I think the disarming of the population by 11 April has everything to do with this.

Farmers should go on strike immediately.

"African labour is so unproductive, and the quality so crap, that despite the low wages"

If by "African" you mean Negroid, then I'll ask you this: why did the mine owners of the new Union of SA get rid of all the White miners during the 1920's and replace them with blacks from surrounding countries? I'll give you a clue, it's got something to do with paying them far less, and with the mine owners being the sort of calculating book keepers they are, bottom line means a lot to them!

What I don't understand is why the Boers fall for their anti-commi propaganda and why the Bantu fall for their anti-white propaganda... neither of which is the problem for either Nation. The problem is in fact the common enemy of both Boer and Bantu: the Western Capitalists who are merely using both Nations!

You answered your own question. The 1920s. Unionisation was not so widespread among the "negroids".
As has been remarked at ILSA before, every effort was made not to use black labour in SA: Chinese and Indians were imported for that reason.
The eventual switch to black labour was the downfall of SA, in my opinion.

I answered my own question intentionally, Viking, as you had said the mine owners never wanted black labour.

Re. the indian coolies (identured labour), they were only brought to Natal after the Zulus had refused to come to Natal to work for the British! In fact there was a high ranking Colonial official who remarked "so the entire war was fought for nothing, we didn't want Zululand, we wanted the young Zulu Men" upon hearing that the chiefs would not send their young men to Natal as labour, despite their king being gaoled on St Helena!
Ever hear of "the ultimatum"?
Well it was list of demands, sent to Cetswayo before the British invasion of Zululand, foremost of which was the demand to send young men to Natal as a labour force.
You see, most Boers had left the Republic after Britain had annexed it and a Boer wouldn't sink to working for a Brit. Apparently neither would a Zulu (although there were a few thousand - usually outcasts - who were already working for the Brits before they turned on Zululand).

So obviously, No! All efforts were NOT taken to avoid the use of Bantu Labour. In fact, quite the opposite is true in that Bantu Labour was actively sought out and eventually imported, because it was the most cost effective!

When you get a chance, drop by the Ultimatum Tree near Fort Pearson on the old Natal/Zululand Border. There used to be a copy of the Ultimatum there.
