Eastern Cape police shot dead two men after two women and a six-year-old girl were killed in a Christmas day attack allegedly linked to witchcraft. Ntombizanele Combo, 45, was killed after the rondavel she was in was set alight at Timane village near Dutywa, said Captain Jackson Manatha on Friday.
Her six-year-old granddaughter, Sibulele Combo, tried to get out through the door, but the attackers pushed her back inside. The other two people in the hut, Combo's daughter and young son, managed to escape the fire.
Eighty-year-old Nokwesile Wogqoyi was hacked to death nearby with bushknives. When police came to see Wogqoyi's body on Friday morning, Ntombizanele Combo's son Baba Wogqoyi advanced on police with an iron rod.
"Warning shots were fired, but he kept on advancing on the police, who eventually shot him in the leg as the lives of the police were in danger."He bled to death at the scene before an ambulance arrived. Later the body of another man, 57-year-old Mthuthindaba Nqontso, was found with a bullet wound. "It is suspected that he may have been unfortunately hit by one the warning shots," said Manatha.Seven men and a woman were arrested and expected to appear in the Dutywa Magistrate's Court on Monday to face arson and murder charges. "The motive behind the murders is believed to be witchcraft as nothing was stolen from the two homesteads," said Manatha. - Sapa

Not only do they have a vote, but they run the country. I was involved in a labour dispute with black liares from some (in)Human Rights org. When things went belly up, I informed them that they will be hearing from my local Sangoma. They all stared at me with Beeg Round Eyes and after rattling off in some ethnic language, they asked me to please not get the weeetchas involoved. Did I not just ride that one! The end result was that the animal they were trying to protect spilt the beans and admitted to the theft. Weechcraft is very real and even these so called eDUHcated AA's are shit scared of them - Use it to your advantage. Next time I am involved in any dispute, I will be taking a sangoma and not a lawyer- Sangomas also work cheaper - or in certian parts of the country it costs you an arm and a leg and maybe an eye ball.
