Reuters message: rather have fewer kids than prevent food wastage.

The Reuters article “Clean your plate, save the world?” made the point that the ruling class was making progress finding ways to reduce food wastage in America, Europe and Africa. This was necessary because “an estimated 30 – 50 percent of the food produced in the world goes uneaten.” It’s presumably uneaten by humans.

The journalists Lisa Baertlein and Ernest Scheyder gave the impression that they applauded a mother's efforts to prevent food wastage, yet they would prefer that she considered getting rid of her kids since there was always a limit to how far she would go to save food.

The article mentioned that the projected population size for 2050 will be 9 billion people. I’m in agreement that people should consider having fewer kids. However, since the journalists took it upon them to decide which people should consider having fewer children I’m also going to have a shot at making the same decision!

Most of the population growth, if not all of it, is expected to take place in the developing world. The mother of three and her American countrymen will probably not have enough grandchildren to maintain their standard of living during retirement, or anything close to what they’re used to. Her fellow Americans should not be giving any consideration, whatsoever, to the prospect of having fewer children. Let the people in the developing world reduce their birth rates. At the very least the developing world should stabilize its population size.

As with everything else, it is expected of whites in developed countries to bend the knee.

Like you accurately state, the problem doesn't originate there.

South Africa has to many people as it is. Where is the mentality when you live in a shack and have 3 kids. If you cant help yourself then how do you look after your children.

With every right comes a responsibility but this is never spoken about. Everyone likes to remind you of your right to have kids however nobody talks about your responsibility for them.

1 in 5 in South Africa is on some type of welfare. If you cut kiddy grants tomorrow you could very well put at least 100,000 kids through university each year free of charge.

That's why global-warming is the great modern-day secular sin. Primarily White countries can be bashed over the head about it.

Those industrialized non-White countries that emit loads of emissions are generally given a free pass, as they are merely trying to catch up with the despicable West, or so the mantra goes.

And that's also why population growth is generally no longer criticized, as it's the developing (ie non-White) countries that are pushing the over-population growth in the world today.

And yet, typically, it's the Whites who are supposed to have fewer children!
