Some Islamic Images of Mohammed. Enjoy

This first image from the book Jami' al-Tawarikh (literally "Compendium of Chronicles" but often referred to as The Universal History or History of the World), by Rashid al-Din, published in Tabriz, Persia, 1307 A.D.

This second image is from the same source, and shows Mohammed showing his followers how to disguise a bomb within a carpet for travel purposes.














Here is Mohammed and friend having an important discussion while a woman milks the other animals.













"Mohammed, along with Buraq and Gabriel, visit Hell, and see a demon punishing "shameless women" who had exposed their hair to strangers. For this crime of inciting lust in men, the women are strung up by their hair and burned for eternity. Persian, 15th century."

Buraq is a sort of a camel with a woman's head that Mohammed rides in many images. I suppose it's hard to French-kiss an actual camel.
