Reply to Some Recent Questions

I thought this cartoon was brilliant, and a fitting response to a commentor who recently asked, why are we not concentrating our efforts on standing up for Western Christian Society?

Although we are primarily a site concerned with South Africa, surprisingly few people have criticised our straying into more international issues. One has recently done so, and this too deserves a reply or at least some clarification.

What happened to South Africa was not an isolated case of liberal hypocrisy. What continues to happen there is part of a worldwide agenda, which seeks to attack and destroy Western civilisation even as a concept.

If that sounds too sensationalist, consider it this way. Many of our readers, maybe even most, live outside of South Africa, and form part of the worldwide diaspora. White South Africans have now exported a large number of their population, and these almost amount to what the UN calls a "displaced people".

These expatriates live in countries where many of the elements that they consider to have destroyed their own country are being repeated and carried out in the name of multiculturalism and diversity.

The doctrine that ethnic homogeneity is morally wrong, Western culture is no better than any other even in Western countries and that the duty of Western civilisation is to obliterate itself rather than spread its benefits to other nations.

As a resource, South Africans living overseas have a unique insight into Multiculturalism, and a perspective that is increasingly valuable in the "diverse" West.

I don't know if this serves as a reply or not, but it is not too much of a stretch to see how South African issues fit into those of the wider world, and how international issues are relevant to South Africans both at home and abroad.
