Refugee Who Fears Fatwa Gets Canadian Reprieve

Guinea is a nation of 10 million people, with an average IQ of 66. It is a shit hole. The country has a largely homogenous population; in other words everbody looks alike, and they aren't exactly smart; retarded may be a better description. So if you are one of them, you hardly "stick out like a sore thumb", or have the probability of being tracked via your credit card expenditure.

Now that I have set the backdrop, contrast how Canada treated this poor cultural enricher, as opposed to Brandon Huntley.

Basically, this asylum seeker has been allowed to stay in Canada because the threat against him, imposed by his father, is apparently so grave that he wouldn't be able to find safe refuge anywhere. Bollocks. Try being white, in a country where you comprise a mere 9% of the population.

A Federal Court judge has granted a temporary reprieve to a failed refugee claimant who says he fears his father, a fundamentalist imam in Guinea, will have him killed for converting to Christianity.

Justice Michel Shore ordered Citizenship and Immigration Canada to conduct a new assessment of the risk Lamine Yansane faces if returned to Guinea, citing evidence that Mr. Yansane's father has issued a fatwa against him.

The federal immigration agent who last year dismissed Mr. Yansane's fears failed to conduct a reasonable evaluation of the situation, the judge concluded. "In his case, the change of religion, apostasy, is punishable by death," Mr. Shore wrote. "Mr. Yansane's father, in evidence that has not been contradicted, threatened his own son with death by a fatwa announced publicly during official prayers."

Mr. Yansane, 37, arrived in Canada from Guinea in the fall of 2005. He told the Immigration and Refugee Board that he fled the West African nation after his father and uncle tracked him down in the country's capital of Conakry, confronted him about his church attendance and threatened him as a traitor to Islam. His wife and three children remain in Guinea. He officially converted to Catholicism in 2007.

The board member who heard his case in 2006 did not believe him and called his testimony "devoid of credibility." But Mr. Yansane's lawyer has since gathered additional evidence supporting his story from religious authorities in Guinea and from a Conakry lawyer hired to investigate. Last year the National Post reached Mr. Yansane's father in the town of Boke, Guinea, and he said his son would be in danger if he returned.

Mr. Yansane, who has a full-time job operating an overhead crane in a Montreal factory, said yesterday that he is encouraged by the ruling. "I am very, very happy," he said. "It gives me great hope to be able to stay in Canada."

VI, love the new link at the top of the home page

Why don't SA whites back up claims of racial persecution by keeping records of all letters and e-mails sent to them saying they can't get a particular job because of AA and EE quotas? 50 or so should do it.

Dachshund,

The reason I originally setup White Refugees, was to collect letters from people, who had filed refugee applications, or anything related, so as to put into a kind of database.

But a database is only as good and strong, as the commitment of those who file thier submissions into the database.

I sometimes think white south afircans complaining about the situation in South Africa is like someone who is fat, who complains that they are fat, but who is not willing to reduce consumption or do some exercise.

In other words they have a different form of entitlement; they are not willing to make the efforts, which prove that they are seriously concerned about the things they complain about.

that is my working hypothesis conclusion...

All, Anyone seen Richard Catto's latest anti-white rant... The Trouble with White South Africans is....

Thanks for that link - mind if we DON'T post that piece?? lol

It's DISGUSTING, RACIST, and WRONG.

Why do people like that c*nt Catto think that there's something glorious in being racist towards your own race?? and why do they think it's somehow NOT racist?

Just as killing yourself is illegal, on the grounds that it's murder, self-racism is still racism!

Funny how collective guilt only works for white people too, hey?

in fact, I might post something on this later when I get my initial rage out of the way. It's always hard to be torn between giving some tw*t unearned airtime, and getting down to the business of countering their kak arguments...

Indeed Viking...

He reminds me of the black xenophobes, the mobjustice ANC cadres, who happily with no evidence would necklace their own fellow blacks, ostensibly on behalf of 'the liberation of blacks from white (sic) oppression'...

So, apartheid was 'evil' and 'racist', for demanding that anyone, including blacks accused of any crime had the right to a free and fair trial; but township gang blacks who necklace blacks, at people's courts, wich require no evidence whatsoever for a guilt finding; and then necklace their fellow blacks: this blacks do not find abominable horrificly prejudiced?

Richard Catto hates white people as much as those blacks hate thier own fellow blacks.

If you did a psychological analysis, I imagine you may find that Richard shares his black necklacing buddies psychological preferences for absolute power, thanks to his low sense of self esteem and psycholigical insecurities..

I quite agree, Andrea. If you wouldn't mind putting a few thoughts on him together when you have a moment spare, and mail them to me, I can post them along with my own later today.

..or i can just use these :)
cheers

Andrea, why not charge a nominal fee for database maintenance. That should get rid of the whingers and time wasters.

Viking,

Will do, hopefully if i get time, maybe later today. use above if not in time, or you can add later, if you find any of it worth adding! ;-)

Dachshund,

Interesteing idea...

Actually the reason I do it right now, is motivated by my futilitarian ideas of maybe it is useful for the few here and there. So I can stop whenever i want, which i will do, if such time arrives.
