Zuma gravy express thunders on out of control

There's only one word to describe this kind of conduct: vulgar. This man oversees homes for the poverty stricken, squalor he witnesses with his own eyes every day, situations that would tug on the conscience of any normal human being. But not the ANC. They continue to say fu*k you to the poor and the beleaguered tax payer. We're wallowing in a banana plantation now.

Tokyo Sexwale's ministry of human settlements spent an average of R72 000 a day over 103 days on wining, dining and hotels.

...

Between April and October this year, more than R8-million was spent on hotel accommodation and restaurants, while R24-million was spent on travel.

In the past seven months Sexwale, his deputy Zoliswa Kota-Fredericks, the director-general, Itumeleng Kotsoane, and his deputy spent more than R7.4-million on hotel accommodation, restaurants and travel.

Between April 2008 and October 20 this year, R59-million was spent by the department.

This emerged in a written parliamentary response to questions posed by the DA.

In the past seven months, Kotsoane splurged close to R30000 in restaurants and more than R1-million on travel, while his deputy spent R800000 on travel.

The department of public works spent R132-million in one financial year on travel, hotel accommodation and restaurants.

Spokesman Lucky Mochalibane said the department had "remained within the budget under goods and services".

Now compare this extravagance with the take home pay of the cops that (as by the previous article)
despatched 7 dangerous criminals in an firefight. This guys at times lay their life on the line and I wonder what they must be thinking when they see such unjustifieable waste.

And this is one of the primary reasons i left SA. I was tired of paying for this shit, so i packed up my stuff and moved. These people will not stop and they really do not give a shit.

Those people that are still in SA, paying their taxes and propping up the government are only prolonging the inevitable collapse. If good, hard working people leave and take their tax earning ability with them, these assholes are going to have to find other sources of money to live their lavish lifestyles.

This makes me sick and i am glad i left. At least i know i am not assisting these pricks with my taxes.

I agree with "h said..."
I also left 10 years ago and it was for the selfsame reason...I could've stomach watching 40% of my earnings getting flushed down the redistribution gravy train toilet.
