Millions worldwide would like to switch countries - Surprise! Southern Africa leads

Some 700 million people worldwide, or more than all the adults of North and South America combined, think the grass is greener on the other side of the fence and want to permanently move to another country, a poll showed Tuesday.

Residents of sub-Saharan African countries were the most likely to want to move abroad permanently, the polls conducted in 135 countries between 2007 and this year by Gallup showed.

On average, 38 percent of the adult population in sub-Saharan Africa, or around 165 million people, said they would up stakes and head for another country if they had the chance.

The most popular destination was the United States, where nearly a quarter of the 700 million -- around 165 million people -- said they would like to settle.

In joint second were Britain, Canada and France, each being named as the preferred destination of around 45 million people.

Thirty-five million said they would go to Spain, 30 million to Saudi Arabia, and 25 million each to Australia or Germany.

The least likely to want to emigrate were Asians -- only one in 10 Asian adults said they would move to another country.

Nearly 260,000 people aged 15 years and older were surveyed, either by phone or face-to-face, for the poll, which has a margin of error of around five percent. - Source

Most people from the third world would love to settle in the first world, one there they would do their best to turn the 1st world country into a 3rd word turdhole.

Race is not a social construct, society is a racial construct and until the weaker races accept this, they should not be allowed to immigrate.

In other words, if you immigrate, you must assimilate. Don't be like moslems that immigrate and then demands that the receiver society changes to accommodate them.

They immigrated because their own society was a shit hole, because of that they want to emigrate and then they want to change their new country of residence into a shithole as well.

well said, Anon.

the evidence is overwhelming that thrid world immigrants will behave exactly the same way in their new host countries, except now they have a bunch of first world people to rob, bully and otherwise scrounge from.

Why would anyone think it would be otherwise?
There's a reason that their countries are hellholes. liberals will have us believe it's because we "oppress" them, so if they come to our countries they will flourish. bullcrap.

Let them fix their own countries and earn the right to be welcomed to ours.

My child asked me when we spent 2 days in transit in Sydney if we are in Hong Kong. lol

Many Asians here in NZ as well. But they very much keep to their own due to language and cultural diffs, but not in the way the Muslims do. They just do their own thing and get into business.

I am actually very grateful for the Asian presence, due to the volume of them they are slowly managing to drag NZ into the 20th century. Look out 21st century, we are coming!

@ anon 11:38, lol. I think the same way about Queensland. I don't mind the oriental presence. To me it's a leg up from some of the rednecks wandering around. They are always well dressed, well behaved and yes, they do blend in and do not cause problems like the muslims and African migrants.
