More white farmers set to leave for Africa: Congo, Uganda, Zambia, Sudan, Angola, Libya

With talk of how whites "stole" the land [unoccupied and mostly unused land we must add but who needs facts] that must be taken back with force coupled with the ongoing genocide against white farming communities, the prospects are desperate for white farmers in South Africa. Our northern neighbours however, having dispensed with their white populations in a show of political rodomontade not unlike what the ANC is doing now, actions they came to rue subsequently, going full circle from not wanting whites to now urging whites to return with offers of free land realise the value of good farming skills - and who better than the best - white South African farmers who know African conditions.

Observe how the ANC Agriculture Minister talks as if they are "loaning" these white farmers to our African neighbours. Yeah right, as if. Listen you mug, white farmers are leaving and you can do nothing about it so don't pretend like you have any say over what Angola, Libya, Uganda or Congo offers the white farmers or what the farmers decide to do. They go if they want and once gone they stay gone. It isn't like farming is a short term vocation.

You wanted your land back, you can have it, farm it, make food, feed the nation, stop bitching. What's that you say, you wanted whitey to stay and show you how to do it? Nah, you seem to know everything so do it yourself. Find someone else to blame when food runs out. Like our neighbours found, blaming whitey only gets you so far. Let the UN know when you will need food aid because it won't take long for the agriculture industry to collapse.

South African Farmers Offered Land in Angola, Uganda

Bloomberg - South African farmers have been offered land for agriculture in Angola and Uganda and the government is also in talks with the Democratic Republic of Congo, Zambia and Southern Sudan.

South Africa “encourages this type of expansion,” Agriculture Minister Tina Joemat-Petterssonsaid at a conference in Muldersdrift, outside Johannesburg, today. The country needs “to ensure that we broaden the base for commercial agriculture.” ["encourages" and "broaden" - bwahahahahah!]

Before any agriculture “there must be bilateral agreements between governments,” Johannes Moller, president of Agri SA, the country’s largest farmers association, said at the conference. Farmers want to move into Africa “as a result of scarcity of natural resources and land redistribution,” he said.

AgriSA on Sept. 30 said it had been offered as much as 10 million hectares (24.7 million acres) of land to farm in the Republic of Congo and 35,000 hectares in Libya.

South Africa’s government will complete a review of its “willing-seller, willing-buyer” model of land redistribution by early next year, Thozi Gwanya, director-general of the land ministry, said yesterday. South Africa wants to transfer 30 percent of farming land to black farmers to help compensate for discrimination under apartheid.

I'm sorry, but as good as this sounds, give it a few years and once the white farmers have once again started from scratch and have nice farms in their new countries, the blacks will be back, demanding their land back again (as Dobes states, it's a vicious cycle..). The farmers should rather look at Australia/New Zealand - they might not know the land initially, but 'n boer maak 'n plan!
