When does a President stop blaming his predecessor and start taking responsibility for his own actions? To be fair, that has been an eternal question in the American context, but it does seem as though Barack Obama has a crutch that he refuses to put aside. Economy? Blame Bush! Media? Blame Bush! Afghanistan? Especially there, Charles Krauthammer argues, Obama has been “disgusting” in his blameshifting, especially since it has been six months since Obama rolled out his own strategy on the war.

Good question! We in SA are also still trying to find an answer to this.

15 years and counting....
Ag come on now, give Obama a break. He is a black man and all South Africans know that black people are the biggest blame shifters in the galaxy....hmmm, no make that the universe....hmmm, no make that all the parralel universes of the 10 dimensions (string theory)
Do not crucify Obama for being a typical muntu. The only thing they do better that blame shifting is denialism.
(I know, I know a word such as denialism does not exist)
BUT as a South African that know too many blame shifting, denialists the word ought to exist, don't you think?
Obama is displayng typical black behaviour and that is the total inability to take responsibility.
It IS NEVER his fault, almost as if he is too much of a weedbrain to make any changes, which is a hoot considering that his whole campaign was to tell people that they must vote for "change"
