Welcome Home Boks!

Hear that whistling sound? Wait for it...wait for it...a little bit more....

Nah, fizzle...

After Foolyes Malema's tirade that only blacks were at the airport to welcome home Caster Semenya, my guess is that SARFU is going to be bussing in shed loads of indigenous folks to welcome home the amaboko-boko tomorrow, free lunch thrown in, to avoid this racial bomb from exploding. Prepare for a throng of all colours of the rainbow nation greeting the Boks back at Oliver Thambo Airport tomorrow!

Anyway boys, well done!

With a huge public welcome expected at the OR Tambo Airport on Monday for the Springbok rugby side SA Rugby has requested that the public - take note of the following:

- The team will make a public appearance on stage at in the parking area (Piazza) opposite the old International Arrivals Hall on the lower access road.

- The Springboks are expected to appear at approximately 4.30pm (the Springboks' plane is scheduled to land at 4.10pm).

- Musical entertainment will be provided in the area from 3.30pm.

- Members of the public are advised to park in the multi-storey car park and walk down to the area.

- The team will NOT be coming through the Arrivals Hall of the International Terminal.

- The parking area (Piazza) will be closed to parking from Sunday evening.

- The lower roadway will be closed to traffic on Monday from 4pm to 5.30pm. Members of the public dropping off or collecting travelers are advised to do so from the upper roadway. -

Talk about painting oneself into a corner. I guess Julius needs to be at ALL arrivals of national teams henceforth or have a doctor's note.
