KZN man’s suicide ’cowardly’ - Zuma

I checked, it's not a joke, Zuma meant it. Zuma actually called the young man who committed suicide because he could not obtain a ID document "a coward". This is your president speaking. Don't blame the system, don't blame the incompetence of the officials or the failure to deliver, blame the victims. We are good at that.

President Jacob Zuma has described the suicide of a KwaZulu-Natal man, who could not get an ID document, as cowardly.

He was addressing a crowd of over 300 people in Greytown, KwaZulu-Natal at the weekend.

Sikhumbuzo Mhlongo’s suicide made headlines and reduced Home Affairs Minister Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma to tears.

However, Zuma said the reason why South African crime was so famous was because of its violent nature.

He added the actions of the home affairs official who tore up Mhlongo’s application form showed people’s aggression.

Zuma said Mhlongo’s reaction to the incident was a warning sign the country was in trouble as his suicide was self-inflicted violence.

Just another disturbing statement from the ANC. And people still question their communist agenda...

Not exactly communist behaviour: bureaucrats in communist countries prefer you to have an ID number branded on your forehead.

Fact is that without an ID you are nothing and nowhere. Can't get a job, an education, absolutely nothing.

Another fact is that Africans don't give a damn about other Africans. You will still get marginally more cooperation from a black guvmunt bureaucrat as a white person than as a black. This bodes bad for blacks forced to work exclusively with other blacks.
