Microsoft Poland subsidiary guilty of racism

Oh dear, put the black guy's head back on! If you can...heh heh

Microsoft apologized for the incident in which the head of a black model was swapped for that of a white model in an online marketing photo advertisement on the website of its Polish website. The ad -- which showed three business people, one Asian, one white and one black -- was altered on Microsoft's Web site for Poland to place the head of a white man on a black man's body. "We apologized, fixed the error and we are looking into how it happened," said Lou Gellos, a Microsoft spokesman. On Microsoft's official page on the social network site Twitter, a posting calls the swap "a marketing mistake" and offers "sincere apologies." Here's a comparison of the two, from CNN:

I've been following this little storm in a teacup. Such feigned indignation. Anything to keep the message on the boil. The ad was simply changed to suit the Polish audience but trust blackie to find something racial in it. If it was a racial decision, why was the oriental guy left in the pic?

So much shit. In Asia they used to have a toothpaste called "Darkie" until Colgate bought it over and called it 'Darlie' toothpaste.

I could not image that shit playing off in an Asian court.
