Your Dystopia Is Ready Sir....

Hells bells. When I saw this I thought I had gone through the Bermuda triangle. Talk about bringing a knife to a gunfight! This website has been designed with a message to uplift South Africans and to tackle crime. How? Why, just by greeting each other. This is better than Oprah Winfrey. The cause of all the crime in SA is the reluctance to greet each other. Actually, this is the blame game again. See if you can spot what is the real cause this site attributes to the high levels of crime in SA:

"Ours is a country torn apart by unusually high levels of crime and violence. There are many contributing factors to this such as poverty and unemployment, but socio-economic factors alone cannot explain why we will often gratuitously maim, torture or even kill one another. For answers to these questions we need to look a little deeper; perhaps probe the painful areas of our past that have created this atmosphere of anger and bitterness; an atmosphere that so often overflows into outbursts of horrific violence" We believe that by regularly doing small things that prick this ‘bubble of anger’ we can each play our part in creating an environment in which crime, particularly of the violent kind, will not flourish".

If you believe that, then you also believe in the myth of the Rainbow Nation, Ubuntu, the Home Coming revolution (sic), Moral Regeneration month, Mandela Day and pixie-dust.

FE, more than that, it is a lilly livered response, a pathetic "feel good" crap website. Does anyone seriously believe if we start greeting each other it will have an impact on crime? It sickens me that people are reduced to creating websites like that. And I am struggling with myself, I really am not being negative, I want to see something good, some positive response in SA. But all I see are stoney smiles and fake happy routines, people bullshitting each other, somehow hoping that on the "other side" we will emerge into the light.

This is the "unclenched fist" approach that liberals hold so dear. If you unclench your fist first then the other side will be inclined to do the same. Obama is a proponent of this making mention of it many times in speeches. Hmm, so far North Korea and Iran have only "unclenched" the middle finger at Obama. Delusional. These people believe a psychopath or child rapist is just a misunderstood person who needs someone to say hello too. Wtf?
