From the "Are you shitting me?" dept

When it comes to a lack of values and morals the ANC stands firmly at the front of the queue. It telling people to uphold 'positive values' and morals is like Michael Jackson telling paedophiles not to sleep with kids. Nothing doing, you lead by example. When you have Zuma getting away with hundreds of corruption counts, when you have billions lost due to wastage, mismanagement and corruption to corrupt ANC cadres, when you see the same politicians driving million-rand cars, for these same people then to turn around and tell the poor sods living in squalor in rat-infested shacks that they must live by "positive values" is a bit rich.

Forget spending a month telling people to live honestly, make it a permanent nightly one hour broadcast. Show corrupt officials being apprehended, show the trials, show criminals being frog-marched into jail, show the sheeple the consequences of living a less than 'moral' life. It would be the SABC's salvation actually, can you imagine the ratings? But, this is Africa, hypocrisy and corrupt politicians comes with the turf.

ANC regime to launch Moral Regeneration Month

Government has declared the month of July, Moral Regeneration Movement (MRM) Month.

The campaign will be launched in Polokwane on Saturday by the Minister of Arts and Culture Lulu Xingwana.

Activities during the month will focus on reminding South Africans of the importance of positive values and the responsibility of creating moral communities, to ensure lasting democracy, peace and prosperity in Africa.

The MRM was launched in April of 2002 after it was established as a Section 21 company with the then Deputy President, now President Jacob Zuma spearheading it.

Deputy President Kgalema Motlanthe is now overseeing the movement's activities and will officiate at the closing ceremony to be held in Mpumalanga at the end of the month.

Even better, they can link it with "homecoming revolution" (sic) together with "smile and stop crime" to truly make it a tripartite dystopia. Hell, with Mandela day next week, we are all gonna be in a kumba-farking-yah mood
