As threatened, the construction workers have gone on strike putting the World Cup in very real danger unless some sort of accord can be reached shortly.

This is just once again pushing up the costs of this 2010 circus and leaving the taxpayer with a big hangover for the next few years as this event can in no way now even break even.
The big problem is that Gautrain is scheduled to go into operation two weeks before kick off, talk about cutting it fine!
The masses are holding SA to ransom, and as Loggi says, the hangover is going to be bad, a "bang babelas" of note. They are so focussed on achieving this goal, what comes after 2010?
