Oh come all ye sucker fans

Thankfully this ended well but picture this scene playing out thousand-fold when unsuspecting, drunken, fun-seeking fans descend on South Africa's crime infested shitholes. These people don't have a clue. Me? I see 8-foot-high walls, barbed wire, electric fences, vicious dogs and I think..oi, wot's going on 'ere then.? Be afraid, be very afraid.

Ex-Corrie star Denise Black once used her acting skills to negotiate her way out of a car-jacking ordeal, she revealed yesterday.

From The Sun (UK)

Denise, who played hairdresser Denise Osbourne, was in South Africa filming a drama called To The Ends Of The Earth when the armed gang struck.

She said: "It was deeply scary. We think we went over a trap and got a flat tyre. These people came and wanted to rob us . They thrust us in the car and took us off the road.

"I think only because we were actors we kept talking and were terribly polite. I think we negotiated our way out of there."

Mum-of-two Denise, 51, told ITV1's This Morning she knew they should be okay after the gang promised not to tie her up when she showed them her deformed hand. She's had it since birth.

She said: "I knew then that we were going to live. I'm very grateful for having 'nice' car-jackers." The robbers took the group's credit card PIN numbers before freeing them in 2004.

Good for Denise. What do the people without a deformed hand and some acting sKills do?

Yep, and how about she refers to them as "nice car-jackers"? What? Lemme guess, the Amy Biehl syndrome?

I really look forward to 2010. I just hope its as bad as I think it will be, because if it is't we'll lose all credibility.

I just want to thank everyone on this blog for your hard work. It is much appreciated.

I cant believe that the new ammendment to the Constitution is'nt covered by the media. I couldn't find anything about it.

It seems at least everything is coming to a point. For beter or worse it seems our drama will reach its prologue soon enough.

"Now I really want the 2010 world cup to fail!"

Here we have an anti-apartheid liberal comparing the hosting of the soccer world cup in SA to the nazi's hosting the olympics in the 1930's.

Why? Because the ANC is hi-jacking the glory for their own self aggrandisement, just like the nazi's did with the olympics. There really is no difference! read Kriel's post, it's an eye opener.

Ooooh, what a heartwarming sweet story. The hijackers didn't even hurt them and were probably polite to boot. Give me a f*cking break. You are lucky to be alive. Go tell it on the mountain. You have been blessed to see another day. I wish my able bodied cousin was blessed to see another day.

If you are still in South Africa and you have cash to send offshore, then do it now while the rand is still fairly strong. All hell will break loose in 2010.
