Just how miserably has the US stimulus failed?

This video cleverly demonstrates how the financial powerhouse of the world has failed to kickstart back into motion. Hopenchange (lots of change on the table actually) said the stimulus was needed, that it had to be passed immediately. So urgent was it that most Congress members did not bother to read the details. The One said fast action would result in 3 million jobs being saved. Oh yeah?

And why does this matter? Without a US recovery, there is no recovery worldwide. We move when the US economy says we move.
