ANC Youth League president Julius Malema "is not shot and will not be shot by anyone".
So says league spokesperson Floyd Shivambu, who is less than impressed with rumours that Malema had stopped a bullet at some point over the past two weeks.
In an irate statement at the weekend, Shivambu said: "We would like to send out a very strong warning against those spreading the rumour, or intending to commit such an odious act, that they will never succeed.

"We will investigate and expose the shenanigans that are spreading this rumour and decisively deal with them."
Malema was "worried and concerned" about the rumours, Shivambu told The Star on Sunday.
"No one likes to hear that they have been shot," he said.
