ANCYL denies Julius Malema has been shot

Pity. I could do with some cheering up. This is proof positive that the devil is working overtime looking after his own.

Malema has not been shot - ANCYL. Youth League worried about malicious rumours circulating about it's president.

The ANC Youth League has received calls enquiring about whether President of the ANC YL Julius Malema is shot or not. We are very concerned and worried by the rumour that ANC YL President Julius Malema is shot. On the 12th of June 2009, the ANC YL received enquiries from media (Independent Newspapers' Journalist) on whether the rumour that the President is shot or not. On the 26th of June 2009, we received the same enquiry. The ANC YL places it on record that President Julius Malema is not shot and will not be shot by anyone.

We would like to send out a very strong warning against those who are spreading the rumour or intending to commit such an odious act that they will never succeed. The ANC YL will do everything in its power to protect the President and resist anything that poses threat to our President. We will investigate and expose the shenanigans that are spreading this rumour and decisively deal with them. We call on whoever is spreading the rumour to stop it.
