Crime in the MSM

Below are some extracts of articles in today's Afrikaans newspaper Beeld.

This is of course only the tip of the iceberg but at least some of the crime stories can still be found there.

I have not managed to find any of these stories in any of the English publications.

Between all the mainstream media articles we cannot even find 5% of the crimes in our local news, not to mention the zero percent internationally.

No wonder the rest of the world thinks everything is peachy in Mandelatopia

Are these publications deliberately not reporting on our crime, or have the lives of South Africans become so worthless that they just don’t care?

Vrou keelaf by voordeur gekry (Woman found with slit throat at her door)

She apparently opened the security gate for her husbands employee who then murdered her.

Sterf toe hy sy gesin beskerm (Died while protecting his family)

Man murdered at home by robbers in front of his wife and three children. Robbers flee with one computer. Family are now too afraid to leave their home

Sy reël glo beurs vir verdagte (She was arranging a bursary for her murderer)

Murdered in her home by her domestic helper 19 and boyfriend 25.

Man ‘val’ van balkon oor drank (Man thrown from balcony over alcohol)

Man thrown of 3d floor balcony for hiding a bottle of brandy from friends

Gr 12-leerling kraam by skool (Gr 12 pupil has baby at school)

Matriculant has baby at school and dumps it in a dustbin.

Man val bejaarde met panga aan (Man attacks elderly with machete )

72 year old man killed with machete by unknown attacker

Vrou wou baba glo versmoor (Woman tried to smother baby)

36 year old women put her baby in a plastic bag in an effort to kill her.

Our critics are trying to silence us by personal threats and lawsuits but we will keep reporting the truth whether they like it or not.
