It's Showtime!

This is it, people. At the risk of repeating myself ad nauseam (I won't after today, I swear) but.. I am going to nag all o'yers one more time.

Get up, get out and get to voting!

And when you are done, phone everybody you know and get sworn affidavits (just kidding) if you must that they voted.

Come on. We expats did our part. We need you to come to the party now. For us too.

Have a good election everybuddy!

PS: And don't forget to tell your workers that voting day is on Saturday ;)

'kin A! We queued 2 hrs in London and with accommodation, travel, lost wages, food etc etc probably cost about R4K - so walk/drive to your local sunny polling station and DO IT!

Amen to that! Flew family 3000km, 5 days, hotel, car hire to place two votes! Pull finger people!

Yes, but how does this end up helping when we all know that the ANC will win this farce, fairly or unfairly?
All going to vote does is lend credence to the idea that this is a functioning Democracy when anyone can see that it's a covert Marxist dictatorship of the most corrupt kind.
If you read Marx's Communist Manifesto you'll see that Democracy is a key component of the election process of the Party leaders by the people. So is the ANC/SACPs definition of Democracy the same as that of a non Marxist?
Now if everyone doesn't go and vote then the whole world would see this "Democracy" for what it really is; a failure.
In yesterday's newspaper a report appeared where a box of blank ballot papers was found on the side of the road by a couple driving past, even after being assured by the authorities that all ballot papers travel with strict security. So here we have the potential for vote fraud to take place. Who knows what other irregularities have so far gone unnoticed?

Just something to think about.

@ThisIsAfrica: the ballot papers fell off the back off a truck. More than 900 of the 1,000 papers have been recovered.

Democracy a key component of the election process of the party leaders by the people? No, communist governments block anyone who doesn't toe the party line from being elected.

Why should there be vote fraud if the ANC knows it will win?

Put on a jersey and go and vote for anyone but the ANC so they don't get a 2/3 majority and carry on messing around with the constitution. That's all the choice we have left, but it's better than no choice at all.

Doberman said...

@ Dachshund..I agree. It's three choices. 1) Do nothing therefore affect nothing and have no right to complain 2) Try and vote another party in (unlikely but worth a try) 3) Keep the winner from getting 2/3rds. The last two are worthwhile options. So I voted. It may make no difference whatsoever but it will be part of my closure process with the mistake I made in '92.

You are clearly a munt with no mathematical capicity arent you? Forgive me, but this sort of attitude pisses on my tits.

If there are 23 million voters and 11.5 mil vote for the ANC and the other 11.5 mil vote for the opposition then the ANC gets 50% of the slice. If half of the 11.5 mil of the opposition have abstained then the ANC gets a 2 thirds majority with its 11.5 mil votes. It is because of people like you that we have the horrendous 14th ammendment. And as for lending credance to the Afro marxists by voting, what a load of bullshit. By not voting, you are lending not only credance but you are donating the treasury to the munts.

!#@$%!@#%!#$

As for voter fraud? Bring it on. Voter fraud is justification to ditch the white liberal guilt.

Please don't wet yourself, China!

I was just giving people something to think about with my comment.

No, I'm not a fucking munt, so no need for name calling. I thought that you were better than this?

Finally, I did go and vote, for what it's worth.
