This follows neatly on from the post "The biological basis of race" posted yesterday. This Nobel Prize winning geneticist James Watson came under fire for his comments that blacks are less intelligent than white people.

Watson won his Nobel Prize for his efforts in discovering the structure of DNA. The respected scientist is on a speaking tour to promote his new book ‘Avoid Boring People: Lessons from a Life in Science’. His first appearance in London at the Science Museum is sold out.
Dr Watson made the controversial remarks in an interview with the The Sunday Times. The 79-year-old geneticist said he was “inherently gloomy about the prospect of Africa” because “all our social policies are based on the fact that their intelligence is the same as ours - whereas all the testing says not really.”

Dr Watson wrote that “there is no firm reason to anticipate that the intellectual capacities of peoples geographically separated in their evolution should prove to have evolved identically. Our wanting to reserve equal powers of reason as some universal heritage of humanity will not be enough to make it so”.
Dr Watson runs one of America’s leading scientific research institutions and claims genes responsible for creating differences in human intelligence could be found within a decade.
Working at the University of Cambridge Dr Watson achieved one of the greatest single scientific breakthroughs of the 20th century, forming part of the team which discovered the structure of DNA. He shared the 1962 Nobel Prize for medicine with his British colleague Francis Crick and New Zealand-born Maurice Wilkins. He has served for 50 years as a director of the Cold Spring Harbour Laboratory on Long Island, considered a world leader in research into cancer and genetics.

You have done a sterling effort at bringing some of the evidence to the "masses". Well done. What liberals do is cherry pick from a handful of studies that dispute the maintsream findings (BC are you listening?), instead of considering the bulk of the findings.
Given the amount of evidence highlighting the differences, there are only two reasons why anybody would still believe in the genetic equality of races, (1) they genuinely are not aware of the evidence. In other words, they are ignorant, or (2) they acknowledge there are differences, find the implications morally unpalatable and therefore commit a deliberate fraud, instead of engaging in constructive debate to improve the situation.
Vanilla Ice and Doberman - it's always comforting to bring up racist scientists whose findings happen to match your preconceived notions and your way of comforting yourself by convincing yourselves that whites are more intelligent than blacks. But scientists used to say that blacks' skulls are bigger on average, so would it not be logical than that if there is a racial difference in intelligence it is the other way around? The evidence is all around us from history that blacks have same intellectual capacity as anyone else, from Great Zimbabwe to pyramids of ancient Egypt (ancient Egyptians prior to invasions by Greeks, Hyksos, etc. were black - I am relatively sure on that though not 100% positive) to the fact that a black American invented the traffic light.

The evidence is everywhere, where in the world do you see blacks running their countries successfully in western ways. Nowhere! They just can't.

Don't worry Liezel. In a post tomorrow, we provide our dear confused self-hating white friend Greg with photographic PROOF that the original Egyptians were white. The following day there will be more. He will obviously debunk it because like I said, if facts don't fit in with a liberal's thinking and view of reality, they dismiss it. Dr Watson is a Nobel laureate but nope, the man's lifetime of wisdom and work is not good enough for our Greggie, no sirree.
Liezel - do a Google search on traffic lights. An African-American named Garrett Morgan came up with the patent for traffic control with symbols for stop and go which eventually became traffic lights as we know them around the world. I think your statement about black South Africans uniformly disobeying traffic lights applies only to a few minibus-taxi drivers.
