There are two types of people on earth. Those willing to accept the verdict of truth, regardless of how it reflects on them personally, or their pet causes, or how uncomfortable it might be; and those who don’t.
If you adopt only those truths which suit you, while denying those truths which you find distasteful, like some sort of chinese menu, you are a coward, a hypocrite, and a cur.
Race realism has a wonderful purpose. Its purpose is to shatter people’s illusions and force people to accept the truth through continuous presenting of evidence, science, genetics, history, geography, the news, whatever reveals the essence of racial differences that so invalidate the fantasy world of equalitarians. But race realism does not exist to serve whites, it exists to serve truth. If Jews are found to be smarter than whites, then race realism requires we accept that. If East Asians are found to be less criminal, have fewer illegitimate children, or a lower divorce rate, race realism requires we accept that. If blacks have bigger dicks and can sprint fast, race realism requires we accept that.
Race realism is a tiny subset of the truth that exists about this world. There is plenty of truth out there. Evolution is real, religion is false, gender matters, homosexuals are mentally ill, HIV causes AIDS, the free market is the best generator of wealth, democracy is fundamentally flawed, divorce causes lasting harm to kids, and star trek sucks compared to star wars.
People who wrap themselves in their pet causes and start clamouring on about how offended they are, how insufferable those who question their delusions are, how everyone on earth has to cater to them and never speak ill of anything they want, are no better than blacks insisting they’re equal and they built the pyramids or invented the refrigerator. Either people cleave to the truth or wrap themselves up in a lie that becomes the basis of their self-worth, and rise or fall on the basis of how many people are forced to acknowledge this lie. The problem with this is, for every person who gets the glowy satisfaction of having some self-satisfying lie told to him or her, there is another person humiliated and killed inside for having to speak a lie.
Solzhenitsyn lived through the gulag archipelago and came out the other side with this fundamental lesson: Live not by lies.
The cold could not break a person, starvation could not break a person, sleeplessness could not break a person, but once you could get them to tell a lie, they were lost. From there on, they could take no pride in themselves, they could not stand up for anything, they knew in their hearts they would buckle next time too. There is nothing more harmful to the human heart than knowing something is a lie, but having to say it’s true. And yet every day people heedlessly, selfishly, callously, demand dozens of lies be told about them, about their group, about their pet cause, to soothe their ego. Unthinkingly, these soul harvesters go around humiliating and defiling everyone they meet, demanding no one notice the Emperor Has No Clothes. You don’t deserve such tribute, no one does. No one deserves to be told lies just so they can feel good. Requiring others to lie about you, or your group, or your pet cause, is a slavery deeper than any whip or collar. It is enslaving even the inner conscience of man. It is making a man acknowledge he is a dog, which no amount of treating someone like a dog could do!
The Soviet Union was largely an all-white nation, but it was still hell on earth. Why? Because everyone was forced to mouth lies. You could not even speak your heart amidst friends or family. Any of them could be spies, informers, traitors. You could never, ever know. The furnace of your true mind and feelings circulated round and round your soul like a pressurised volcano, but it could never come forth! It could never be expressed! You could never be yourself! Exist! Live!
Ayn Rand aptly described the Soviet Union in We the Living: “In a totalitarian world, you can either kill yourself, kill your mind, or leave.” Enduring the hell of lies is impossible. One or another part of you is lost forever. Nor was she grandstanding, look at Russia today! The majority of children are aborted, alcoholism has taken the men to third world life expectancy, despair and depopulation hangs over people like the ghost of Christmas past. What horrible tragedy must occur to make people kill their babies, kill themselves, kill their mental faculties with alcohol and drugs, abandon all hope and all wish to live? Simple–communism required people to say nothing but lies for the last 70 years. God help such a nation! God help such a soul!
So no, we can not accept ’some’ lies for the sake of civility, or machiavellan policy, or any other excuse. Life without truth is worthless. Never ask that of anyone.

I have to live a lie in my job that blacks are just as competent as whites. That is the single hardest thing about my job, without ANY doubt. If I dared mention anything about competence I would certainly be fired on the spot, for being racist. So instead I have to grin and bear the torture of participating in discussions with a bunch of MORONS on occasions. I will never survive the spectacle of blacks that are oblivious to their own intellectual limitations in the long run. So I will be taking my knowledge and skills away from them and become another statistic. Maybe if Black Coffee begs me to stay I will reconsider….NOT IF YOU PAID ME A MILLION $! By the way, the government is way, way under represented by whites! Why is no one ever raising this issue? On second thoughts, maybe people are sensitive enough to realize it is just torture on the poor whites.
Bravo Dobes, great article. Truth is what defines some of us, who in turn commit our lives in pursuit thereof, be it finance, engineering or day to day life.
@Fish Eagle. I hear you, however offer an alternative perspective. I do not see what you are doing as being dishonest. You are acquiescing, which is very different to lying. Yours is a survival mechanism. Truth does not have to be publicly broadcast to exist. It can exist in your mind, which I am sure it does. This cannot be taken away from you and is much more harmful to your enemies as they don't see you coming. Remember, walk quietly with a big stick. One million of us already have.

I will have to change my way of thinking because I’ve tried EVERYTHING to find middle ground with my black colleagues but nothing works. I find that blacks, especially males, are incapable of using constructive criticism, irrespective of how diplomatically it is presented to them. They immediately interpret it as a personal attack. So how on earth do people expect to catch up on the deterioration of the country when the majority of the population does not take advice from the “previously advantaged” group?

I can imagine the frustration. Your white colleagues are most likely scared of losing their jobs and therefore keep their opinions to themselves.
Its unfortunate to be working in that atmosphere of looking at the baboon and knowing he doesn't have a real clue whats going on but yet, you have to be careful because baboon is very sensitive to anything you say. He only understands praise and a kind of acknowledgement that he is afterall the most competent and intelligent of all! Baboon gets dangerous when he hears anything not to his liking.
Critisism or advice = racism....as we know.
Where you will be better than baboon, is in your mind, as what was also mentioned earlier by Vanilla.
Play the game. Join the party and go along with baboon and all his wise ideas and incompetence. It's so easy to fool them. They cannot read your mind. they are pretty useless with very fine sarcasm too.

Maybe not exactly to the point , but here it goes :
In the business I work we evaluate
( amongst other criteria ) canditates for a job with a system called Personal Index. One information this system reveals is if the person is a subjective or a objective thinker and to what degree this applies. In the last 12
years that we are using this criteria the percentage of subjective thinkers has increased amazingly. I always wonder if this happens because a lot of realistic/ smarter ( objective )people have left South Africa already or is it that the remaining ones have adopted to living a lie in order to survive and therefore have adopted deliberate subjective thinking ?
I can really sympathise with Fish Eagle and any other reasonably intelligent white who has the misfortune to have to work in a black affirmative action environment.
It doesn't work. You will naturally underperform if performing the way you naturally would, causes discomfort and feelings of inferiority among blacks. I dropped out of the corporate world years ago because I couldn't stand working with dumb blacks and underhanded Indians who are so, so sensitive and quick to stab you in the back. You don't even have to say anything un-pc, the fact that if you work smarter that's un-pc enough.
Recently a friend of mine who was a director at one of the big 4 banks upped and left for a much better job in Arab Emirates. Her husband had been out of works for years thanks to being retrenched due to AA. The last straw for her was when she was forced to attend ridiculous touchy-feely diversity training meetings, when she already had a hectic day supervising 50 people. She has left for good. Her husband has a better chance of getting a job without affirmative action against pale males.
How can you possibly work in an environment that discriminates against you in every way, and has put your husband out of a job as well?

The only reason why I'm still doing my job is because my part time studies are related to the job, which needs to be finished before I move on to a better environment. I believe I can only find that better environment overseas because every field of research in SA has been infiltrated with this brain washing crap about blacks.
@Whiteadder, are you referring to tests for whites only or including blacks? I believe for whites it is both reasons you mentioned. I am struggling to stay objective the moment I have completed another torture session with my black colleagues. I imagine everybody in SA is going through this to some degree but I’m just being honest about it. This mind game has definitively had a huge negative impact on my efficiency.

I am refering predominantly to Whites . We found that the system only works from a certain minimum level of comprehension. I work for a company that is mainly owned by Europeans ( the real ones ). All positions are filled on merit alone. My boss once said that he would rather close shop than be forced to employ people that are not the first choice for a position for whatever insane reason. He says that he owes this to his clients and that they are the ones that feed all of us.
In fairness I must also mention that we have some really exceptional, far above average competent Blacks working with us since many years that during the seventies and eighties also got paid what they were worth. No job reservation / discrimination or race favours in our company . Ever. Not than - not now. Needless to say that we had to shrink our company in order to fall into a category of business that can do this legally. around 700 employees lost their job. My boss said at the time that he rather loses 70 % of the profit than 100 % of his integrity. If all CEOs of larger companies would have this outlook
consumers in South Africa would not get the usual shaft and our country would be more efficient. We also would not have lost about a million decent, job creating taxpayers.

I'm a fan of psychometric tests. (This on average includes at least three areas for testing: Verbal, Numerical and Abstract). Companies who make this part of their recruitment process, are smart.
This way you can usually filter out the people who "walk the walk" from the rest who only "talk the talk".
