After a recent spate of really serious and depressing articles, I thought some humour would be in order. I borrowed this from the Irish Savant.
Did you know that murders on Rednecks by Rednecks are solved at a statistically lower rate than those of other whites?
There are two reasons for this:
1. The DNA all matches.
2. There are no dental records.

Truth be told, at least we are progressive enough to still be able to laugh at ourselves. Change the hue of the victims and the joke goes down like a lead balloon.

The picture is saved as "South African twins", but tell me is that right? I doubt that they are South African these two, look more like dixie south rednecks.
The word redneck is that not used for the british or anglo-africans in South Africa?

I don't want it to detract from the original lighted hearted nature of the posting, but "Rooi Nek" was a term used to describe the British, supposedly because the sun used to burn their lilly white necks, and is commonly heard as Rooi Nek. Rooi Nek is translated directly as Red Neck, but is seldom used in the english form. In this instance Red Neck was used to refer to the stereotypical white of lower socio-economic status with a penchant for poor breeding and mate selection standards.
