Racist rugby teams ok in 2009

Apparently the world has progressed to a point where racism in sport is indeed permissible provided it is not by whites. Whites-only teams would be racist, of course. For everyone else, it is uh, um, "indigenous heritage".

As an exercise, I've replaced "Maori" with "white" and New Zealand with South Africa/ Springbok etc so we could imagine how it will read when a whites-only rugby team begins to tour. I think it looks quite good. So here's hoping we'll soon see an "indigenous" South African white rugby team touring.

South Africa New Zealand changed its rules on Thursday to resurrect the chance to host the New Zealand Maori South African Whites rugby team. The original proposed match in June in Soweto Dunedin was blocked by racism laws. A government ruling prevents the Springboks All Blacks from playing racially selected teams.

But the presidents council of the South African New Zealand Rugby Union instructed its staff on Thursday to try and organize a match between a South African New Zealand XV and the Maori Whites as a warmup for the All Blacks Springbok' series against the British and Irish Lions.

The council accepted a recommendation from the management committee that SARU NZRU can accept matches against any team sanctioned by the national governing body of that team.

SARU NZRU acting managing director Andy Marinos was asked to find a way to fund the cost of hosting the Maori Whites for a match without a date or venue yet.

SARU NZRU and the New Zealand South African RU had been working together on the original proposal until they stumbled on the racial law last month. The NZRU SARU even had the support of the country's race relations commissioner Joris de Bres.

The Maori Whites, comprising of players of indigenous heritage, has been New Zealand South Africa's international second-string team in recent seasons. In terms of competition, the Maori Whites have often been of a higher standard than many other countries' full test teams.

The Maori Whites were once prevented by South Africa New Zealand's apartheid laws from joining All Blacks Springbok tours to the republic.

They last toured South Africa New Zealand in 1994 without meeting the Springboks All Blacks.

Thanks guys, now how about organising a protest? I'm not in SA, but I'll organise one here in the UK!

Which reminds me of a protest march we had in Calgary, Canada this week. The march was by a white pride group. Needless to say this group was attacked violently by an "anti-racist" group and viciously criticised by media and populace alike. Despite the right to freedom of expression, it seems that if you are white you cannot express any form of pride, yet cultural heritage can be celebrated by all other races. It doesn't matter what the white pride group stands for, what matters is the blatant hypocrisy. I tried to point this out, but all my comments were not published by the MSM .... in other words censored.

how do you get that strike through on those words right? I tried doing it on an upcoming post and could not see how its done.

I must be dumb :-)

Just STOP WATCHING AND SUPPORTING RUGY! It is meaningless.
Sport is nothing but the opiate of the masses. It is being used by these ANC terrorists to keep your minds dumbed down.
There are more pressing problems for white SA's to concern themselves with.
Stay away from the games.
