The person who filmed this should be put against the wall and shot along with the other criminals!
African Democracy.....And there are idiots who argue we are all the same?
Barbaric! In this day and age.
So what's new?
Sharing a continent with animals like this - any surprize things are on an irriversable downhill?Black Coffee, please explain how colonialism, apartheid, the west or whoever else you liberals always blame can be held accountable for this barbaric behaviour of blacks against blacks?
Tsk. Don't be silly Scorps. Black Coffee won't reply to things like this. It goes against what he has been told his whole life and that would mean, yes, horror of horrors, that everything he has been told was wrong.
Well we saw it all before here in SA during the 80's and 90's, Winnie and her famous necklace gang. Africa has a way to go before it is truly "civilised".
This is the direct result of the crony "quiet diplomacy" story which showed blacks how little African leaders care about their own people. So then don't be surprised that they turn on each other in this vile and barbaric way.Personally I wouldn't mind throwing petrol over Mugabe and torching him myself. He's not human or even an animal, just pure evil.
What did the victims do ? Did they perhaps unwisly mention that they might not vote for the ANC ? Bad spells ? witchcraft ?Watching this stuff makes one understand what savages kaffers are.
Africa will never ever be civilized! A whole croud is watching and nobody does anything! Where in Africa was this filmed by the way? Similar things are happening daily all over Africa but it is seldomly filmed!Get out of Africa!
Probably one of the most horrific things I've ever seen. Any info on this vid, where/when/why etc?
And now Mugabe says sanctions are "cruel":End 'cruel' sanctions - Mugabe19/03/2009 14:27 - (SA) Harare - Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe on Thursday called for foreign aid to revive his nation's shattered economy and urged Washington and Brussels to end "cruel" sanctions on his inner circle. "I on behalf of the inclusive government and the people of Zimbabwe say, friends of Zimbabwe please come to our aid," Mugabe said at the launch of a new economic recovery plan prepared by the month-old unity government. "To the European Union and the United States, I appeal for the removal of your sanctions which are inhumane, cruel and unwarranted." "We also wish to appeal to all those countries which wish us to succeed to support our national endeavour to turn around our economy," he added. The European Union and the United States maintain a travel ban and asset freeze on Mugabe and his inner circle in protest at controversial elections and alleged human rights abuses by his government. Although his long-time rival Morgan Tsvangirai became prime minister in a unity government last month, western countries say they will maintain the sanctions until the 85-year-old leader proves he is ready to reform. Zimbabwe's once-dynamic economy has been crushed by world-record hyperinflation and the collapse of farming, mining and manufacturing. Budget slashes in half Finance Minister Tendai Biti, Tsvangirai's top aide, slashed the government budget by nearly half on Wednesday, saying that revenues would be 43% lower than predicted just two months ago. Tsvangirai has asked neighbouring countries for $2bn to help jump-start the economy, but has said that a total of $5bn would be needed to put the country back on track. Mugabe did not say how much aid Zimbabwe wanted, as he launched the Short-term Emergency Recovery Progamme (STERP) in a ceremony at a Harare hotel. "The successful implementation of STERP will indeed require a substantial amount of resources...We hope these will be forthcoming," he said. - AFP
Anon 5:57 said:"Africa has a way to go before it is truly "civilised"."Maybe from where it is now Anon, but don't forget, much of Africa was "Civilised" when the Negroes were all still living in Nigeria! That they've spread so far so fast can only spell doom for the rest of the World too.
Of course it's the white man's fault .we invented fire!
@Viking: It's Sasol's fault for selling petrol in the first place.
FUCK AFRICA! disgusting
at nothingtoxic.com I glossed over a comment that stated that it happened in Kenya and that it was probably a witch burning. Lest you all forget: this happens in South Africa too.
Saw plenty of this in '89 when the Zulus and Xhosas began to mix in Natal...I was a 19 yr old section leader and we were ordered to keep them from killing each other without killing any of them! Very difficult when one Nation wants nothing more than to burn the other to death, but with "western" media looking over our shoulders and ONLY interested in filming anything the white SADF Soldiers did wrong, it was very difficult indeed!
Anybody see Greg? Greggggg where are you?
Horrible, just horrible.I pray for the lives lost.
Love between African Brothers...
I am here Loggi, I saw the video. The video merely shows somebody burning someone else, but does not explain how or why this came about, nor does it even say where this occurred. This is a terrible incident, but the fact that it occurred in some corner of Kenya and that it occurs in some corners of SA (last year's burning of the Mozambican man during xenophobic attacks in SA comes to mind) does not mean that all or even most black Africans are like this. Rather it means what I myself tell people who have never visited SA or other parts of Africa and that I will say here - in Africa, among its indigenous (black) nations - you will find the best and the worst of humanity.
loggi: Greg is consulting his text books to figure out some way to twist the language in a pompous manner to blow smoke up our asses and to figure out how to blame apartheid and white peopleFor Greg its a high stakes game: If he admits the truth, his Ph.D becomes a farce...
Back in the late 80's we were doing COIN ops in KwaMashu, trying to keep the ANC and the IFP from killing each other off completely... In hindsight it was a kak idea, we should of left them to it. Seen a couple of these BBQ's live, with our local lot more inclined towards petrol and tires, and the results of a lot more second hand. There is just something about that smell that you can never quite forget. You also really can't feel the same way about certain members of the community as you used to. My liberalism changed to a more conservative outlook after seeing almost a year of this kind of chimpout. With the 'brave liberators' killing more of their own people than we did...At least when petrol is used, it's all over for the victim in a couple of seconds... even if you rescue them, they invariably die later in hospital as their lungs can't absorb oxygen anymore. The whole body covered in 3rd degree burns doesn't help either. You can't even pick the poor f#@ker up properly as his skin and flesh just pull off.A SICK, SICK, SICK, SICK nation!!!@ Coffee... Quo Vadis old cock?No-one even asked if you wanted fries with that...Vis Sic Pacem, Para Bellum!
@ ParaQuite right. What people like Black Coffee can never understand or relate to is what the average South African has experienced in his/her life. There goes Greg talking as if he knows what it is like to have a gun to your head, or worse having someone shoot at your wife and child or having a friend shot dead. He cannot relate. He cannot understand how brutal these people are. Btw, the experiences above are mine. The average American, European will never know serious crime in his/her lifetime whereas nearly every South African has, several times.
Doberman - I know from my personal experience on Hoek Street near Park Station in Johbg what it is like to have some big guy come from behind and suddenly place you in a stranglehold while his buddy takes just a few seconds to rifle your pockets and get your cell-phone because that is precisely what happened to me on February 2, 2007. That experience did not make me hate all or most blacks. Admittedly, the person in the video experienced much worse and that is what Para witnessed in the 1980s - but again this does not mean that all Africans are like that and I think deep inside you know that.
“..I think deep inside you know that.” REALLY???
There's a difference between having the luxury of deciding which blacks are "like that", and the desire to stay alive.Sorry you had a bad experience, BC, but I can promise you that you know (not so deep down inside) that you flinched the next time you saw a big black guy on a dark street. It's not so much hatred of blacks as it is awareness of the statistical likelihood that the guy walking towards you doesn't give a shit whether you live or die. It's sad but true. I'm not a deterministic racist, but I'd rather be one than be a liberal with a knife in my back.
Viking - the incident that happened to me occurred in broad daylight actually, around 5:30pm. It is in the area of Noord Street taxi rank if you are familiar at all with that part of Johbg. Much later, when back in the US, I read that there are thugs who prowl that area and that unsuspecting whites have been getting mugged there for almost the past 30 years - going back to apartheid years. Nonetheless, your point is well-taken. I suppose though a black could use the same argument and say that he or she does not have time to distinguish between those whites who want to bring back apartheid, those who support AWB and want to exterminate blacks and the well-meaning, non-racist ones.
@ Black Coffee, since you only care about blacks I will phrase my point so that you may understand it. Your comment just proves that you are living in a dream world. More blacks have died after ’94 (thanks to criminals and/or politics), than before ’94. Blacks are living with much, much more fear today than before ’94. What part of the statistics don’t you understand??
@ BCThere is a difference between some white people thinking about "bringing back apartheid" - it kills no one - and an encounter with a black - that can result in harm. The chances of harm are more likely with the second scenario. If only blacks did more thinking and less crime. And maybe whites should stop "thinking about apartheid" and actually start doing. Then that would give blacks a real fear.
