Cape Town - Western Cape police are investigating murder cases after seven Zimbabweans burnt to death in their shack in De Doorns near Worcester.
Captain Marie Louw said on Tuesday that people who witnesses the incident had told them the fire was started on purpose, prompting police to change their inquest to a murder investigation.
Four men and three women, aged between 23 and 40, died on Sunday after their shack caught fire in Stofland informal settlement.
"All the people who were inside the shack died," said Louw.
No arrests had been made yet.

Strange when you consider that De Doorns must have a population of what - 500 people.
