Liberals have all the answers but.. shocker...no solutions in real life. Who wudda thunk it, huh? Like Biden said, Obama will be tested within six months of taking office. I predict a large terror attack on the US inside the first year.

There’s been a lot of talk from the president elect about closing down Gitmo. Last week we were told Obama would not be closing down Gitmo then this week we hear that he’ll issue an order to close Gitmo on day one.
All that aside, there’s just one little issue that needs to be sorted out before you unlock the gates. Where are the detainees going to go?
We already know that Governor Kathleen Sebelius of Kansas, a big Obama supporter, has made it quite clear that she doesn’t want any Gitmo grunge living in her backyard.
The country of Australia, which used to be known for its willingness to take convicts, wants no part in the Gitmo foreign exchange program.
The United States Senate doesn’t want the detainees setting foot on American soil, thank God.
Many of the prisoners themselves have said they don’t want to go back to their own countries for fear of what would happen to them, so that’s out.
To make matters more complicated, the Pentagon said just yesterday that 61 detainees who have already been released, immediately went right back to a career in terrorism. Whoda thunk???
Whatever shall we do?
Perhaps we could get some help on this from some of Gitmo’s biggest critics. I wonder if Kieth Olbermann would be willing to take in a few of the detainees as boarders. He’s a wealthy guy, he must have a few extra rooms in that big house of his.
Or perhaps Markos Moulitsas, founder of Daily Kos could take in a few of the detainees since he’s an expert on the subject. He’s the one who explained that US “torture” was equal to that of Saddam Hussein. (Okaaaayyyy.)
Keith and Markos can really help America by taking in the Gitmo detainees and looking after them for all of us.
Let’s just hope they don’t say something like “not in my back yard.”
