The fact that we report the death of these two Black businessmen highlights the fact that this blog acts for all South Africans. Crime affects all the races and Blacks suffer just as much under this crime / ANC scourge as anyone else. Granted, 95% of all crime is committed by Blacks but that is another subject.
The point I'm making here and what is so disappointing is that these two people who appear to be of a higher comportment probably voted for the ANC - which until recently denied crime was a problem - and who have, since finally 'fessing up shown to be pretty clueless on how to go about solving the problem. These two people probably, indirectly, caused their own demise.
Leaving the ANC in power means a continuation of the status quo. It means a prolonging of the country's agony and increasing the chances of one becoming a crime statistic. That is the choice we face in the next election. Either we put people into power that can do the job or leave the current baboons to carry on as is.

Welkom - While police were investigating the scene where a Welkom businessman had been shot and killed in his home, robbers attacked a second businessman and his family around the corner in the same neighbourhood.
Police suspect the murder of Martin Matsela, 52, and the attack on Patrick Khumalo, 34, who live only a few houses apart in Jan Cilliers Park, could be related.
Matsela's family was too shocked on Sunday to talk about his murder. His wife, Loraine, was in the laundry room of their luxury home at about 17:30 on Friday, when she was overpowered by the robbers, threatened with a firearm and then tied up and locked in the laundry room.
Police spokesperson Puleng Motsoeneng said when Loraine heard the shots, she broke a window and called for help. Neighbours heard the commotion and called the police.
Martin was shot twice in the chest at the front door. The robbers fled in Loraine's car, which later was found abandoned behind a shopping centre.
Martin owned a funeral home, amongst other businesses, in Welkom. It was not known how many men were involved in the robbery and what was taken.
Police were still at the Matsela house when Patrick Khumalo and his wife Lucy were attacked at 21:00.
Three armed men apparently demanded money, but Khumalo said the money was at his business in Thabong.
He managed to set off his car alarm, after which the men fled with jewellery, R5 000 and the car keys.
The third man was apprehended by police with R50 000, jewellery and cellphones, which he had taken from the safe.
