Toozday Toot: Eiffel 65 - Too Much Of Heaven

Our financial whiz contributor Vanilla Ice ;o)~ will appreciate this song. Between the poor English and lyrics (and catchy melody) is a message about the "killer that makes no sound", that is, money. As the lyrics go, life is all about the "dollar bill" and nothing else, no love, no friendship. 'Heaven' is the money the new generation seeks above all else.

In Australia, for instance, no one under 35 has experienced a recession and although technically the country is still not in a recession and may indeed escape the global economic turmoil, things have become tighter and perhaps serves as a good lesson to the young 'uns. I fall in the Gen X category and have felt my fair share of struggles but our Gen Y cousins have yet to feel the sting of a recession and its concomitant problems.
