Obama has taken the election by any and all means necessary, a means that will hopefully come to the fore now that the media has got its man elected.
I believe Obama was not the right candidate at this time. He is simply not ready to lead. He is divisive, he is an unknown (again, thanks to the media who went out of its way to check the background of people like Joe the Plumber but wouldn't report the ample dirt available on Obama).
I believe the American people will rue electing Obama. I believe the world will rue having Obama in office.
The divisions that have polarised American society for eight years will continue for at least another four years. Obama is not going to heal the country and indeed, Obama will be at risk of assassination till he leaves office. Mark my words.
The American people have spoken and all must live with the decision. That's democracy. The decision is what it is. But, as much as people who did not support Obama must accept the will of the majority so too must Obama and his supporters accept that opposition to his election will intensify and be fierce. The shoe is on the other foot. Bush and the Republicans were blamed for everything from the sun rising to little Johnny's ice cream melting so now it is the turn of the Dems and Obama to get whacked. It will be a good time. Payback is a bitch.
The only consolation I can offer people who supported McCain is that you will be blameless as we watch Obama cock-up on a grand scale.
Be prepared to say "I told you so" a million times and develop a mocking laugh. Allow me to start it off with an appropriate image (see now, isn't this fun?).

Now that the media has its man elected ...
So pray tell - who owns and runs the vast majority of the media?
IF YOU WANT TO KNOW WHO IS TRULY IN POWER IN ANY COUNTRY< SIMPLY ASK WHO IT IS THAT YOU CANNOT CRITICIZE
MACHIAVELLI
I am not about to let race impair my rational thought process. The fact that the majority of blacks are borderline retarded does not disqualify Obama from being an effective President. Does his competence bother me because he is black? No. Am I concerned that John McCain may have provided more of the same? Yes. George W did such a great job at cocking things up that Obama would be lucky if he was able to repair much of the damage. Time will be the judge as to whether Obama is a good choice. More importantly, the election of a black president in a predominantly white country, provides evidence that whites are predominantly NOT racist. This remains one of the final frontiers remaining for blacks to prove themselves. However I imagine it will be a cold day in hell before a sub-saharan black electorate votes for a white candidate.
@ anon 4:39
It isn't about race. Obama is half-white, half-black so in truth, he is not a black president. One could just as easy state he is a white president. No, it is about policies, and to me, foreign policies. I don't live in the US so I care sweet f**k all what he does domestically, but foreign policies do affect me..so, expect a nuclear Iran within the next 4 years, Iraq slipping back into chaos, expect Israel to get less US support, basically if you can recall the Carter years, the disaster that it was, Obama's term will make that seem like a picnic.
@ another anon..who posted earlier saying something about "stopping coming to this blog"..apologies, pressed the wrong button. If you don't like what I have to say about The One, you know how to fuck off, right? DO IT. FUCK OFF. DON'T COME BACK.
I agree with the Carter statement, he is as weak as piss!
At least Bush made decision, this dude will drive the economy into the ground, he will try to please everyone and in the process he will destroy the USA.
For the people that was old enough to remember the Carter regime, he was singing the same tunes and made the same promises to the under privilege.
Who can forget the hostage drama in Iran, Carter was not up to the task to handle the situation and when they reacted it was half hearted.
This man will destroy America with his views that Iran is not a threat.
Good Luck to Israel they are going to need it, Obama will not support them and for White South Africans don't expect any support when a full genocide start in this country.

@ Wit Olifant..
Dude, where have you been? I feel like I've been farting alone in a hurricane. I'm glad someone else hasn't bought into the new Obamessiah crap.
Carter? He will look efficient next to what Obama will do to the US. Luckily the elections come around every 4 years so this is a one term president, like Carter.
And in Carter's time, there wasn't global terrorism to deal with. It is going to be sweet watching old stuffed suit trying to sing kumbaya with the islamic terrorists. It will make a change for people like me that support GW Bush hearing them always knocking down a man who had the guts to take the fight to the enemy.
Not white, not black; he's a half breed bastardized mongrel. And he is a muslim, he will be sworn in with his hand on the Koran and not the Bible. But who put him into power: the Zionists or the public? The first bum step he makes, they will oust him like they ousted JFK.
He is just another pawn in the game just like every president is.
I have three (broad, highly paranoid, and bitchy) thoughts:
1. Will the press be able to keep everybody quiet and confused long enough for a fortress of noble sounding, "necessary for healing and unity" obscenely broad, humiliatingly punitive, anti-hate speech codes, fairness doctrines, one sided campaign finance fences, and internet security initiatives to wall us all in or will the press fall apart having already spun too much, too fast, for too long to resemble an impartial source of information ? Will the supremes do anything beside argue and smirk while it happens? The supposedly centrist Clintons were awfully quick to bully free speech down where they could, abusing FBI records, blaming a government building bombing on hate radio, and demonizing anyone who opposed them as backwards in the best case, stupid and ignorant in the middle, and willfully satanic in the worst. Will there be international trials and nonstop moneky court in the congressional chambers? Will this make the voters publically regret their unwise choices or will they essentially learn to masturbate to all the raw meat, bread, and circus and turn the whole mess into a never ending reality show, the watching of which marks you as enlightened and poltically aware? Will the patriot act suddenly cease to be a proto-fascist abomination and need to be strengthened ?
On January 20 we need to begin crucifying Barak Obama on a daily basis.
Treat him like they treated Bush, blame him for anything bad that happens in the country. Democrats run the country, they no longer have the luxury of blaming Republicans when something bad happens. The country will not tolerate it for four years.
It is time for revenge, not pointless whining.
Doberman, you said:"Carter? He will look efficient next to what Obama will do to the US. Luckily the elections come around every 4 years so this is a one term president, like Carter."
I admire your optimism. I think that Obama will open the US borders to Kenyans, Mexicans, Venezuelans etc and give them voting rights to ensure that the Republicans will never again have the chance to reverse the biggest setback the free world has experienced (Obama's election)in the last 50 years.
Wonder how many "rednecks for Obama" will admit that they have voted for him in 4 years time.
In the American racial psyche someone who is "half-white, half-black" is considered black. So those of us who struggle against racism can rejoice that America has its first African-American president. Anonymous 04:39 - to say that "majority of blacks are borderline-retards" is a very racist statement and has no basis in reality whatsoever. If anything, it seems to me most black Americans have a better grasp on politics than many whites do. True, many whites are not racist, but many still are. What pushed Obama over the top was unprecedented African-American turnout, many of whom in previous elections were too apathetic to come out and vote. Same for young American voters, basically those 35 and younger and especially those under 30, again this group's turnout was unprecedented. Thirdly, Doberman you say you don't care about our domestic policies - but pay attention here, the economic recession and the perception among many, justified in my opinion, that with McCain there was too much of a risk that he would continue Bush's policies, having voted with Bush 90% of time. The majority of Americans spoke and thank God, in my opinion, the majority did not buy into politics of fear-mongering, which you have whole-heartedly embraced for some reason, in the same way they did in 2004 when they handed Bush a second term.
g-man stated:

g-man I suggest you read the literature. It is indisputable, and supported by many studies, that sub-saharan blacks have an IQ of 67. I imagine you are close to that number too.
But then again, no point in arguing with a retard, many may not know the difference.
Anonymous 05:59 - I have read that claim, who are the people that measure the "IQ" of sub-Saharan blacks in first place? What is their IQ? Anyway, that's just more racist drivel, disguised under "studies."
G-man, if you think Obama's economic policies make sense then you need to wake up.
The American system is set up on free enterprise, a strong capitalist system, starting from the bottom knowing you can get to the top on your own steam if you are prepared to do it. If that belief is no longer there, that is the end of the American Dream. Welcome to France.
Obama's liberal, leftwing approach of capping 'wealth' and therefore determining who is too rich, is socialism, pure and simple. Why would anyone want to buy a business or increase their income above $250K only to see most of it go to others who sit on welfare and pay no income tax? Me, I would take my money elsewhere, consolidate my business, ENSURE I do not cross $250K and so forth and wait Obama out. Do you think businessmen give a crap about sentimentality?
When employment is back above 10% like in the Carter years, and interest rates are at 20% then maybe the people will feel the pain. At the moment, the Obama bullspeak has sold so many people up a shit creek without a paddle that only feeling the pain will wake them up - and hey, they deserve it.
BTW, just another 3.1% swing towards McCain and Obama would have lost so don't think all the American people are behind the douche bag.
All you have guaranteed is divisiveness for another 4 years and Obama will be out on his ear. People like me and the Republican supporters are going to break down douche bag at every opportunity and since the Dems now control the House and Senate as well, there won't be anybody to blame but themselves. What to do when things go wrong huh? Who do whiny libs blame then?
Don't get too comfortable with Obama. When he is finished socialising the US a la Sweden and France, he will have changed the country forever and Americans will understand only then what an incredibly giant fuckup they have made voting this tool into office.
Fortunately, I don't suffer from white guilt or peecee afflictions so I will say aloud what many people are thinking. He was elected mainly because he is black and the stereotype of the American Idiot is alive and well.
And it is also a double edged sword because no longer can any black claim that "the man" is holding them back.
The excuse that blacks have used since slavery to make stupid whites feel guilty is over, done, finito. That ship has sailed.
It is now a level playing field.
No more affirmative action, no more quotas, no more hand ups. Do it on your own steam like Obama did will be the answer henceforth. The system works because obviously a black has risen to the top within the existing system. No need to make changes.
Believe me, this is sooo good in many respects.
@ G-man. So now were the African-Americans too good to take part in America’s democratic processes during previous elections? That’s just typical. Who is being racist here?
I have to laugh at your statement, “those of us who struggle against racism”. Does that shoe fit when it is blacks and whites that are being discriminated against? In that case, any help for whites in Africa will be much appreciated. By the way, here you have genocide taking place. Good luck!
