Mini-me Poll Result: Who is best to run SA?

Our latest mini-me poll was probably a moot question, an "all of the above question". You see, the choices on offer, they are ALL Mickey Mouse.

South Africa's politicians, like their political counterparts (read: dirt bags) around the world are all Mickey Mouses because all they do is spew shite.

Name one person in government in SA that is impeccable, that you respect 100%, that you would follow into the gates of hell. Ok, nevermind gates of hell, how about share a beer? Not many, right?

It takes a sycophantic person to WANT to be a politician versus someone who BECOMES a politician because fate, destiny, the people, whatever, chooses to make them a leader. They are the natural-born leaders and there are few of those in the world.

If you choose to become a politician, you are on a get-rich-quick mission, that's fer sure. Power brings influence, influence brings money.

Understand one thing and this is a rule that applies throughout the universe like Newtons Law of Gravity: ALL politicians are scum. If we (society) conducted our lives like these supposed “leaders”, we would be: a) fired from our jobs, b) disowned by our families, c) shunned in social settings and d) mocked behind our backs.

If you say “that’s not true” then I feel sorry for you and the company you keep - and I’d wash twice after you leave your next social encounter.

We have to be cynical about our "leaders". It is good for us and keeps them on their toes. Question every word, every act, every motive.

It is a fact and a sad state of affairs that when we vote, we pick the lesser of the evils on offer.

Remember that these people are not heroes, they are not rockstars, they are not superhuman. They are just people who have paid off and been paid off, and are puppets for people above them who have only number one in mind, themselves.
