Mini-poll: Do you feel hopeful?

The latest mini-poll result paints a depressing picture. Just 6% feel hopeful about the country's prospects.

I think Zuma is the worrying factor, what to make of him. Then there are the politics of threats and violence from his supporters. We thought we'd left that kind of politics behind.

The axis of evil partners seem intent on forcing us down a path where we will become a country ruled by demands, threats and intimidation, not unlike many African countries before us.

There is also the social problems facing South Africa. While the ruling party bickers over the seating arrangements on the gravy train, the legions of unemployed and the criminal element continues to deteriorate. It does indeed seem like a hopeless situation. Where will sound leadership come from?

Very interesting . 50% of voters do either not know or give a shit.
This is exactly the reason why we are where we are.
