Body parts cut from corpses

Can it really get any worse?

Hollywood cannot dream up these horrors. We have a common criminal running the South African Police, so absolutely corrupt that he has disbanded the Scorpions, the most effective police crime fighting unit.

A minister of safety and security who`s solution to the crime epidemic is, If you don’t like the crime..Leave this country.

They in turn report to a prime minister who renews the very lucrative contract of the police chief while he is on a fully paid one year suspension whilst awaiting his criminal trial.

We are now exposed to these horrific and barbaric crimes on a daily basis. This has become so commonplace that it we do not even raise an eyebrow or discuss these issues. Yes it is bound to get worse until this ANC regime is kicked off the gravy train.

Durban - Police on Wednesday were searching for body parts that were sliced off three corpses at a Pietermaritzburg mortuary.

Superintendent Henry Budhram said that on Monday, the owner of a funeral service business reported to police that body parts were missing from three corpses - two females and a male - that were being kept in their cold room.

Body parts missing included eyes and sexual organs. Budhram said police were not ruling out the possibility that the body parts were taken for muti purposes.

The name of the funeral service was not released.

"We arrested two employees later that day but the body parts were not found. The suspects are due to appear in court today (Wednesday)," said Budhram.

The suspects will face a charge of violation of corpses and two counts of contravening the Human Tissue Act.

Due to the mass action by Cosatu, prosecutors at the Pietermaritzburg Magistrate's Court said the matter would be remanded as would other cases pending at the court.

On Wednesday, police began searching for the missing parts. Killer 'took out victim's eyes'

Johannesburg - A 20-year-old man is expected to appear in the Flagstaff Magistrate's Court on Monday for allegedly raping, mutilating and killing a woman, Eastern Cape police said on Saturday.

Captain Mduduzi Godlwana said the man was arrested at his home in Mthwaku Village, in Port St Johns on Friday.

The 30-year-old woman was walking home from work on Tuesday when she was attacked in the Msigaba forest, in Port St Johns. "The woman did not return home from work on Tuesday.

Her family searched for her and her body was found in the forest. A sharp object had been used to take out both her eyes. A wire was tied around her neck. The umbrella she had been carrying was shoved into her private parts," said Godlwana.

She was also allegedly raped and had several stab wounds to her body. The man was arrested at his home, said Godlwana.
