There are ‘sinister’ forces at play, he says. Yeah, the forces of Truth and Fact. That would be ‘sinister’ to Mbeki.
Chikane denies something 'he has not read' but what the Sunday Times has in its possession - a letter from the MDC leader blasting Mbeki.
If you can’t believe the word and integrity of the Mbeki regime, who can you trust, huh?
Chikane is Mbeki’s version of Joseph Goebbels, Hitler’s Minister of Propaganda.

Beware the 'disinformation campaign'
Recent media reports that President Thabo Mbeki had received a scathing letter from MDC leader Morgan Tsvangirai could be part of a disinformation campaign waged by sinister forces, the presidency said on Wednesday.
Briefing the media in Cape Town, Director-General in the Presidency Frank Chikane warned the media to watch out against "intelligence projects that get run to produce a particular outcome".
In its last edition, the Sunday Times claimed that it was in possession of a letter written by Zimbabwean opposition leader Tsvangirai to Mbeki attacking the South African President for, amongst other things, his lack of neutrality in the Zimbabwean talks.
According to the Sunday Times, the letter was delivered via official channels and urged Mbeki to step down as mediator in the Zimbabwean talks.
However, Chikane said such a letter was never sent to Mbeki nor to his officials.
