I never said kill anyone – Malema

As one commenter on this blog correctly noted, he meant “...he did say kill .. but all he meant was to hit with a flower ..or in the worst case to tickle ..so its all a distortion from the media .."

New to the job and already pathetic.

Let’s see, his exact words were:

“Let us make it clear now: we are prepared to die for Zuma. Not only that, we are prepared to take up arms and kill for Zuma,”
I dunno, does that sentence mean something else?

They can lie with a straight face and mean it. Utterly inveterate qualities necessary to be an ANC ‘leader’. That is, the ability to lie, deny, deceive and live with it.

Yessiree bob, he will fit just nicely in the organisation of terrorists, liars and crooks.

An unrepentant ANC Youth League president Julius Malema has come out guns blazing in defence of his “prepared to take up arms and kill for Zuma” statement.

Addressing the media yesterday at Luthuli House in Johannesburg, Malema said his infamous statement was blown out of proportion with the intention of destroying him and the league.

“We never called on anyone to take up arms and kill,” Malema said in a complete about-turn on previously repeated statements including those made during a live radio broadcast.

“We have noted the distortions, misinterpretations, vulgar insults and defamatory comments which have been hailed (sic) against (the league) and its president.”

He said his statement should have been interpreted in its political context, not in a literal sense.

“What we meant was we are going to do everything in our power to make sure Zuma gets a fair trial. We have no intention to kill anyone. We never said we are going to take up arms and shoot to kill.” he said.

On the issue of the South African Human Rights Commission giving him a 14-day period to retract his statement, he said the league’s legal representatives were looking into the matter.
